National Rally

23rd to 26th February 2024

 

 

 

This Rally is jointly hosted by the Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa Branches,

based in Pahiatua at Masters Hall.

 

This is the weekend following Art Deco weekend in Napier

and the Lochinver Station Tour.

For those who attend all three of these fantastic central North Island events, all facets of vintage motoring will be catered for!

 

An outline of the events planned is set out below.

The venue is not licensed but you are welcome to BYO.

Tea and Coffee will be supplied in each accommodation lounge area.

 

Friday 23rd February

From 2.30pm

Arrive at the Masters Hall, register and have your rooms assigned.

Settle in to your room and perhaps explore your new surroundings or pick a spot under one of the shade trees to relax.

5.30pm Meet and greet and welcome followed by a BBQ dinner and fellowship (BYO drinks).

 

Saturday 24th February

Breakfast followed by a briefing and non-competitive run over some great country roads with a stop for your packed lunch and to visit a place of interest. Followed by more run finishing back at the Masters Hall in time to relax and clean up before dinner and the evening’s entertainment.

 

Sunday 25th February

Breakfast, followed by a briefing and run with a stop for your packed lunch and visit to at least one place of interest. Return back to the Masters Hall in time to relax and change for dinner (dress up in your finest for dinner).

 

Monday 26th February

The rally will finish after breakfast and pack up before we all return to our other lives devoid of the fellowship that can only be enjoyed when in the company of fellow Austineers.

 

Meals, accommodation and entry to any places of interest will be covered in your full registration of $340.00 per head (The only event not included is the cost for the ride in the Vintage Railcar through the Manawatu Gorge. This ride has not been finalised but will cost $30.00 per head if a permit can be arranged for the use of the rail line.)
