Annual General Meeting  2024

10 - 12 May in Richmond ~ hosted by the Nelson Branch

 

 

 

 

 

Nelson VAR Members invite you all to sunny Nelson for the VAR Annual General Meeting. 

This will be held at Club Waimea, 345 Lower Queen Street, Richmond, Nelson on May 11, 2024.

 

Our Saturday and Sunday runs will take you to some interesting parts of the Tasman area. The rural and scenic runs will try to avoid busy main roads and involve NO gravel roads.

Should it be wet (highly unlikely!), all the places we are going to have indoor facilities.

 

Please remember that it is free for any member to attend the AGM only. However, we do ask that you fill out this registration form so that we know numbers - for quorum AND catering purposes. This could possibly be the last AGM before they are done online - so make the most of it come to sunny Nelson. 

 

Entries close on Saturday 4 May 2024.

 

Programme: 

Friday 10th May 

4:30pm - 10pm Club Waimea, Noggin & Natter.

Light Supper provided.

Meals can be purchased from the restaurant at Club Waimea from $18 - $35 p/p

 

Saturday 11th May 

9:00am Austin run and scenic tour (100km round trip).

             A packed lunch can be pre-purchased for $20

1:30pm Annual General Meeting

3:00pm Afternoon Tea (free)

5:30 - 6:30pm Pre-dinner drinks

7pm Dinner

 

Sunday 12th May

9:00am Austin run to museum (65km round trip).

             A packed lunch can be pre-purchased for $20

 

Registration cost will include:

Registration fee, Friday night light supper, Saturday and Sunday’s morning tea, plus Saturday night dinner. $110 p/p.

 

A packed lunch can be pre-purchased for either or both days for $20 p/p

Alternatively, there are supermarkets and bakeries in Richmond or you can stop at one of the cafes or restaurants nearby on both runs.

 

Accommodation: This is your responsibility to arrange. All the suggestions below are within walking distance of the AGM venue.
