welcomes you to attend the Annual General Meeting of the VAR

at the Copthorne Hotel, Palmerston North.

Palmerston North is centrally located for the North Island and is well served by road, rail and air. The venue is located on Fitzherbert Ave., just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Palmerston North, Te Manawa Museum and Art Gallery, the Victoria Esplanade and Botanic Gardens.

It is near the bus depot and a 10-minute drive from the airport if pickups are required.

There is plenty to explore in the Manawatu while you are here and great roads for Austineering. Our Saturday outing will be to a private museum followed by morning tea in Ashhurst. There may also be time to take in the new roadworks for the Saddle Road upgrade now that the Manawatu Gorge is closed.

The Vintage Car Club spares shed could be opened if requested on Sunday.

The Copthorne Hotel has rooms available – single, double or twin - $175.00 bed & breakfast and secure parking is available.

There are quite a number of motels within a short walking distance of the venue at similar prices.
